Second Baptist Church of Germantown

Together While Apart

Rev. Dr. Otis Moss shared a quote from one of his friends that encouraged me. He said "Worship hasn't been cancelled, it will just be different on Sunday!" We are not able to gather in the building called "the church" but I'm grateful that God provides other ways for us to gather. There was a "sweet, sweet spirit" in our place of worship. The response of some of you who completed your "homework" to call and check in on one another really blessed my heart. God has provided virtual ways for us to reach out and touch one another without fear, using gloves or hand sanitizer. So let us continue to fellowship with one another in creative ways: to glorify God and to edify the body.

This Wednesday we will be having our Bible Study on line via Zoom. This tool gives us the option of signing in via the internet (laptops or cell phones) or by using your telephones. The information you need to log on is listed as follows:

Maranatha!
